It is an itinerant school of stand up that was born in Antofagasta in 2016, where the first creative workshop of feminist stand up was held, its second version was in Bogota. From there, the pedagogical area was opened with greater formality: training spaces, focused shows, trainings and personalized classes.
The experiences of the Revolución Reída are characterized by an environment of respect and love towards all corporealities, in full awareness that exploring our bodily and dialectical expressiveness requires a comfortable space and adequate guidance.
Our approach is to be able to collectively build fun ways of healing, relieving ourselves, repairing ourselves; to make responsible use of the power of MAKING humor from what we are interested in transmitting; that is, we assume the responsibility of creating content that does not spread harm, on the contrary, we give rise to imaginaries that, while inviting us to question, recognize us as interdependent.
Revolución Reída is currently in Bogota, Colombia for the process of return after the Sexilio de caru. In this way the school is being strengthened here through the joint work with people who have done the workshop, such is the case of this work under construction -Pocxs tienen, todxs ponen-.
Nacha and Jeniferd Cristal, did the creative workshop of feminist stand up in May 2024, and from then on, we performed shows as a group, sharing the stage. To give an example, we created a show for June month of sexual diversity. In this way we continue to support our creative processes and produce new shows.
